Music Stand

This rare Frank Lloyd Wright designed music cabinet may have held a Victrola on top and records in the drawer below. This unrefinished piece shows the original wood stain.

Frank Lloyd Wright

Frank Lloyd Wright designed all of the furnishings to be used in the Dana-Thomas House. The firms that he employed to create the items for the house were often ones that he had worked with in the Chicago area. Active in the Chicago Architectural Club, Frank Linden (1859-1934) worked with Wright on the execution of the magnificent art glass. The Linden Art Glass Company also handled fabric and furniture design and coordination. The iridescent art glass was made by the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Company, in Kokomo, Indiana.
