FLLW Saguaro Forms Bookmark
The landscape of Arizona influenced Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs. The saguaro cactus with its massive arms and barrel trunk becomes an element for play in his unrealized design for a LIBERTY magazine cover, “Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers,” 1927. This design was later completed in glass for the Arizona Biltmore Hotel by the Taliesin Architects.
