The floating, boldly colored, intersecting circles with square accents were the carpet design Wright created for the living room of the Hoffman home in Rye, NY.  Although the rug was not executed in 1957 for that home, after Wright’s death it was woven for the Wright’s living room at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
