Max Hoffman House Rug Design Throw

Max Hoffman was a European automobile importer for whom Frank Lloyd Wright disigned a house as well as a Jaguar dealership in New Youk City.  The floating, intersecting circles with square accents was the carpet design for the living room of the Hoffman home.  Although this rug was not executed n 1957 for that home, after his deathm it was woven for Wright’s own living room at Taliesin, Spring Green, WI.
