Description
Design is based on the ‘board and batten’ walls utilized in Frank Lloyd Wright’s “Usonian” homes, circa 1936-1959. Usonian (derived
from Wright’s concept of United States of North America) style homes were uniquely suitable for the more informal United States lifestyle.
The “board and batten” walls consisted of a core of plywood, lined on both sides. This formed a solid wall, finished both inside and out,
without the further need for plastering and decoration. This formed a strong horizontal appearance, so indicative of Wright’s work.
Solid hardwood alder case, natural finish. Walnut stain base and accent lines. Protective glass lens.
Dimensions: H6.5″x W9.5″xD2.75″.
